Danish-born midfielder of Ghanaian descent, Nikolas Nartey has expressed his delight after completing his loan transfer to German 2. Bundesliga outfit SV Sandhausen.

Following a stellar campaign in the German 3. Bundesliga during the 2019/2020 football season when he spent a season-long loan at Hansa Rostock, his parent club VfB Stuttgart have decided to send him on another loan spell for the upcoming season.

“After the position at Hansa Rostock in the 3rd league, the next step in the 2nd Bundesliga follows.

“At Nikola's commitment last summer, we emphasized that the course we were discussing provides for the opportunity to loan Nikolas to other clubs”, Stuttgart sports director Mikayil Kabaca said to confirm the loan deal.

In his first interview with SV Sandhausen after passing a mandatory medical examination, the midfielder says he hopes to play regularly when the next season comes around.

“I am very happy to be in Sandhausen and to play for the SVS fans. My goal is to have a lot of playing time to get, to help the team and to constantly develop myself”, Nikolas Nartey said.
