Danish-born Ghanaian midfielder Nikolas Nartey did not participate in VfB Stuttgart's friendly against Heidenheim on Friday due to injury.
According to the Kicker, Nikolas Nartey is currently struggling with muscular problems. The 23-year-old was also not in the squad for VfB Stuttgart on the last matchday against Wolfsburg.
Nikolas Nartey will start individual training again next week the report added.
In the friendly game yesterday VfB Stuttgart beat Heidenheim 2-0 at the Robert Schlienz Stadium.
VfB got off to a good start and had their first good opportunity in the fifth minute through Tanguy Coulibaly. The Frenchman failed from close range against Heidenheim's goalkeeper Vitus Eicher.
After the break, VfB quickly took the lead through an own goal by Heidenheim in the 48th minute. Shortly thereafter, Waldemar Anton made it 2-0 with a long-range shot in the 55th minute.
Both teams used the remaining playing time to give other players time to play.
