Nkoranza Warriors PRO confirms Isaac Mensah’s transfer to Hearts of Oak

Nkoranza Warriors Public Relations Officer, Habib Mohammed has confirmed the transfer of highly-rated youngster Isaac Mensah to Hearts of Oak in the on-going transfer window.

The Phobians have been one of the busiest sides in the transfer market, having already signed Isaac Mensah, Danjuma Kuti, Abednego Tetteh and Abdourahamane Mamane Lawali.

Coach Edward Nii Odoom wants to strengthen his squad ahead of the second of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League which has been suspended due to coronavirus outbreak.

Speaking to sportscorna.com, Habib Mohammed disclosed Mensah has penned a three-year deal with Hearts, however he's been loaned to the lower tier side until the end of the season.

"It’s true Nkoranza Warriors have released Isaac Mensah to Hearts of Oak.," he said.

"For the past one week, coach Edward Nii Odoom and the management of Hearts discussed with us [Nkoranza Warriors] of a possible addition to his squad in the attacking department.

"Preferably, a young chap that can understudy the current strikers and takeover when they depart.

"So they brought a transfer request and asked for the availability of Isaac Mensah which the player showed interest. We met with officialdom to complete the deal last Friday.

He added, "Although he has signed for Hearts but he has been loaned back to us [Nkoranza Warriors] for the rest of the season. He will officially join Hearts at the end of the season."

"If the season bounces back, Isaac Mensah will complete the 2019-2020 season with Nkoranza Warriors as part of the agreement we had with them [Hearts]."
