Manchester United will not have an open bus parade through the city if they win the Europa League on Wednesday night.

According to the Daily Mail, the United hierarchy has decided against the celebration because players are jetting off on their holidays straight after the tournament.

It is not unusual for United to decline the festivity after winning a trophy. Last year, the Red Devils did not have a parade after winning the FA Cup, with Louis van Gaal being pushed out the door at the same time.

The issue has been compounded by the horrific Manchester Arena bombing that took place on Monday night, in which 22 people have lost their lives and a further 59 have been injured.
