We are not afraid of TP Mazembe - Moses Parker

Medeama SC president Moses Armah Parker is confident his side will make it count when they take on five-time African Champions TP Mazembe in the penultimate group A game at the Essipong stadium on Sunday.

The mauves have a daunting task at hand going into this must-win game against the reigning African Champions who defeated them 3-1 in the away fixture in Lubumbashi.

The Tarkwa based side who lie second in group A with 5 points, needs the maximum points on Sunday to increase their chances of making it to the semi-finals but it won’t come any easy against a star-studded side in Mazembe.

But President Moses Parker insists they are not afraid of the Congolese side but will rather go into the game to secure maximum points. “We are not afraid of TP Mazembe, we will do our possible best to win this important match.” He told Asempa FM.

The two-time Ghanaian FA Cup holders will hold their training session on Friday morning at the Bempah school park to trim the rough edges ahead of the decisive clash in front of their home fans on Sunday.
