National Sports Authority (NSA) Director-General Prof Peter Twumasi has sent well wishes to newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah.
In the congratulatory message, Prof Peter Twumasi said
"The Authority believes the confidence that the Governing Board of the football club has reposed in you speaks volumes of the wealth of experience that you bring on board as the new Chief Executive Officer; thus we have no doubts in our minds that you will be able to change the fortunes of the club,"
"We as partners in sports development and promotion hope your administration will give equal attention to all the various departments of the porcupine family in order for the club to regain its past glories,"
"On behalf of the Governing Board and Management of the National Sports Authority, I have the singular honour to congratulate you once again and to wish you well in all your future endeavors," he added.
The Kumasi-based club confirmed his appointment on Tuesday after a series of meetings held by the Executive Board.
Nana Yaw Amponsah was given a three-year mandate to turn the current circumstances of the club around.
