Nsoatreman FC new tactician Yaw Preko has embraced the challenge ahead after officially joining the club.

The former Medeama and Great Olympics coach reportedly signed a two-year contract with the Nsoatre-based club.

Preko replaced Maxwell Konadu, who left the club to join South African side Black Leopards.

He is expected to lead Nsoatreman FC in the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup campaign next season.

“Day-in-day-out we are learning on the job. If you are coach and you land a new job, you ensure you don't repeat the same mistakes you made in the past”

“I spoke to Maxwell Konadu on his report and I think it is in the right direction. He made provision for certain inclusions in the team particularly where they fell short in the previous season. We will tackle all those positions and add my philosophy to it”

“I don’t want to complicate stuff. The team is already in motion so I just have to ensure we move the team to the next level. It’s a challenge and I have to be ready for it”

Yaw Preko will commence work with immediate effect as the team gear up for their maiden participation in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.

Nsoatreman FC will know their preliminary round opponent on Thursday, July 11, 2024 in a draw set to be held in Cairo, Egypt.
