Odotei Sowah is not the right person to work at Hearts of Oak - Harry Zakour

Former Hearts of Oak board chairman, Harry Zakour has raised concerns about the capabilities of Vincent Odotei Sowah, saying he is the right person to work with the club.

The former Member of Parliament was recently retained on the Hearts of Oak board, and Harry Zakour seems not to be happy with Odotei’s involvement in the team.

The Phobians narrowly escaped relegation in the just concluded Ghana Premier League campaign. The Ghanaian had to beat Bechem United at all cost to maintain their status in the Ghanaian top-flight.

Speaking to Happy FM, Harry Zakour affirmed Odotei Sowah is not the right person to work with Hearts of Oak considering his bad track record.

“Togbe is doing his best but he need the right people to work with. Odotei is not the right person. He’s been to King Faisal and we all saw what happen, Grusah paid him off. He came to Heart during my time we paid him off and he went to NPP, and he was again paid off. So I don’t know why Hearts of Oak is still keeping him”

“I have nothing against him but he should go and stay somewhere. I’m not saying he is a bad person but maybe he has no luck for the club. Togbe need good people to work with and he is not giving chance to people to work with. I don’t know what’s wrong with Togbe. He is the best, look at the money he is spending. He even demolished the property we bought and rebuild it. He’s done well. Look at Pobiman, he’s really done well for the boys but he must sit up and get some people to run the club well” he added.
