OFFICIAL: Black Princesses to camp in Europe before the start of 2022 FIFA Women’s U20 WC

The Ghana Women’s U20 national team will hold a two-week camp in Europe before proceeding to Costa Rica for the 2022 FIFA Women’s U20 World Cup.

This has been confirmed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) through an official statement on Wednesday.

“The Black Princesses will pitch camp in Europe from July 15-30 ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Costa Rica.

“Ghana will be making a record 6th straight appearance at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Costa Rica in August this year.

“Head coach Ben Fokuo will use the two-week tour to put final touches to the team’s preparations ahead of the tournament,” a statement from the Ghana FA has said.

The 2022 FIFA Women’s U20 world cup is scheduled to be staged in n Costa Rica from Wednesday, August 10 to Sunday, August 28, 2022.

Ghana is pitted in Group D with the United States, the Netherlands, and Japan.
