Norwegian side Fredrikstad FK officially announced the signing of Ghanaian defender Maxwell Woledzi as reported earlier by Footballghana.com
The Norwegian club has signed the former FC Nordsjaelland defender on a three-year contract that will end in 2026.
Maxwell Woledzi, 22, is moving from Portuguese outfit Vitória to Fredrikstad FK where he will be playing a key role for the team.
The defender is a graduate of the prestigious Right to Dream Academy and played for FC Nordsjaelland when he first moved to Europe. Maxwell Woledzi made 28 appearances and scored one goal for FC Nordsjaelland in the Danish top flight from 2020 to 2022.
At Fredrikstad FK, defender Maxwell Woledzi will hope to excel to take his career to the next level.
Woledzi leaves Vitória SC just one season after arriving, having never represented the first team. He made 13 appearances for the B team in Liga 3.
Fredrikstad FK is currently second in the Norwegian 1st Division with 29 points after 15 games.
