OFFICIAL: Ghanaian defender Annan Mensah joins Armenia outfit Urartu Yerevan

Ghanaian international Annan Mensah has sealed a transfer to Armenian Premier League outfit Yerevan Football Club (FC) ahead of the next football season.

The center-back last played for Armenian side Lori Vanadzor Football Club but his contract has expired at the end of the season.

With clubs recruiting players to bolster their squad for the next season, Annan Mensah has been signed by Urartu Yerevan.

The defender has today officially put pen on paper to ink a 1-year contract that could be extended if he impresses for the team.

“We are happy to announce that Urartu Football Club has a new signing. The club has signed a contract with 24-year-old defender Annan Mensah”, an official club statement has said.

Last season, Annan Mensah played very well for Lori Vanadzor where he made as many as 20 appearances.
