OFFICIAL: Jordan Ayew completes move to Crystal Palace

Ghanaian International, Jordan Ayew has completed his anticipated move to English Premier League side Crystal Palace on a three-year deal from Championship side Swansea City.

The Black Stars striker has been linked with a permanent move to the side following his stellar performance with his national team at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

Following fruitful negotiations, Crystal Palace has announced that they have secured the services of the player on a three-year deal ahead of the 2019/2020 season.

Speaking in an interview after completing the deal, Jordan Ayew shared, “I am very happy [to have returned]. I really enjoyed myself last season”.

“I enjoyed the stadium, the fans, the boys - they were really good to me - everything here was positive and that's why I decided to continue with Crystal Palace”.

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has also expressed delight over the transfer of the Ghanaian whiles stressing that the player proved he is hardworking during his loan spell with the Eagles last season.

“We are delighted to secure Jordan's services for another three seasons at Crystal Palace. He has proved himself as a dedicated and hard-working member of the squad, and certainly played his part in the club securing its highest ever Premier League points tally in the last campaign," the gaffer said.

Last season the former Olympic Marseille striker made 20 appearances in all competitions for the side but only managed to find the back of the net twice.

He is now determined to continue his fine form at the 2019 AFCON to ensure he better the statistics from last season.

Meanwhile, manager Roy Hudson was delighted that the move was made permanent for the Ghanaian striker.
