In a statement on their official Twitter account, RB Leipzig confirmed they have acquired the rights to Portuguese striker Andre Silva.
Silva signed a 5-year deal that will tie him to RB until 2026. Undoubtedly, the forward had his best year in the pros last season, scoring 42 goals in 57 games across all competitions, and his name was linked with more than a few clubs during this transfer window, with Leipzig pulling the trigger on the young talent. Silva, who arrived at Frankfurt two seasons ago from A.C. Milan where he wasn't able to express his full potential, found himself at home in the Bundesliga, and will look to continue his splendid run of form with his new club.
