OFFICIAL: Los Angeles FC sign Ghanaian forward Kwadwo Opoku ‘Mahala’

Major League Soccer (MLS) side, Los Angeles FC has announced that they have completed the signing of Ghanaian teenager Kwadwo Opoku.

Popularly known as Mahala in his home country, the exciting forward has displayed outstanding form in the past few years and is now set to take the American top-flight league by storm.

“LAFC announced today the signing of 19-year-old forward Kwadwo “Mahala” Opoku from the Attram De Visser Soccer Academy in Ghana”, the MLS club has announced today.

The club statement adds, “Mahala will occupy an international spot on the Club’s roster pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P1 Visa”.

During the attacker’s time at Attram De Visser Soccer Academy, he tallied 29 goals in 64 matches.

He has already represented Ghana at the U-17 and U-20 levels, including his participation at the 2017 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations in Gabon.
