Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side, Dreams FC, have confirmed the departure of their coach Manuel Zacharias.

The Portuguese trainer joined the club in January 2017 following his exploits in the MTN FA Cup with Bechem United.

During his season long stay, Manuel worked as Technical Director in charge of both Stage I and Stage II (youth) squads.

He was temporarily installed as manager during the club’s campaign in the lower tier after the departure of C.K Akonnor and Abdul Karim Zito to AshGold and Gruether Furth respectively.

Dreams FC appreciates the time spent with us and his efforts in helping sustain the club’s key philosophy of nurturing talents”, Mohammed Jiji Alifoe, President of Dreams FC remarked after a brief signing session to seal the exit.

“We are glad he accepted our standards and worked with us professionally.”

“We wish him the best as he relocates to Portugal and some day we will still do business, maybe indirectly not in Ghana”, he concluded.

Dreams FC would play in the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League after emerging tops in Zone III of the GN Bank Division One League.
