In an official statement that appeared on the club's Twitter account, Bologna confirmed that they have opted to activate the buy option clause in Adama Soumaoro's contract.
The defender will now join Bologna on a permanent basis, and is third player bought by the Italian club in this transfer window, after Musa Barrow from Atalanta, Bonifazi from SPAL and Bartha from Honved. Soumaoro appeared in 20 matches last season with the felsinei, scoring one goal in the process.
