A Sporting Lisbon development-area alumni already, from 2012 to 2015, 22-year old Portuguese left wingback Ruben Vinagre has officially joined O Clube back, this time as a pro player.
Here are the 1999-born's, a former U19 and U20 international, first words as Leoes returning member: "I am getting back into somwhere I was very happy once, and I hope to be so again. The times I spent here, as a junior player, were very good".
Former AS Monaco, Olympiakos and Famalicão player is still on a parent-club deal with Wolverhampton Wanderers, which had joined first four years ago, until June 2024, and a permanent-move option has been saved for Sporting across the ongoing agreement.
