Footballghana.com can officially report that Young Africans SC has sealed the transfer of Ghanaian forward Michael Sarpong ahead of the 2020/2021 football season.

The Tanzanian giants are preparing for the next football season and have been doing business in the transfer market to secure the services of top players.

After successful negotiations, the club also known as Yanga SC, has wrapped up the signing of Ghana’s striker Michael Sarpong on a free transfer.

The young but lethal striker last played for Rwandan outfit Rayon Sports but had to sever ties with the side in April this year after the club failed to tie him down to a new contract.

Michael Sarpong is expected to strengthen the attacking line for the Tanzanian side after losing top man Barnard Morrison to rivals Simba SC.

The 24-year old enjoyed a successful campaign during the 2018/2019 Rwanda Premier League season where he helped Rayon Sport to lift the league title.

That season, Sarpong scored 16 goals and finished the campaign as the division’s top striker.
