Owner and bankroller of Division One League outfit, Skyy FC, Wilson Arthur has expressed his displeasure about officiating in the ongoing campaign.

The Daboase-based club, who are aiming for qualification to the Ghana Premier League are currently sixth on the Ghanaian second-tier league with 34 points after 23 matches into the campaign.

However, Wilson Arthur, who is the chairman of the FA Cup committee appears to be unhappy with officiating in the Division One League this season.

In an audio aired on Wontumi FM monitored by Footballghana.com, Arthur lamented about the state of officiating in the ongoing campaign.

“I can’t use our situation this season to condemn officiating. Truth be told, officiating has been bad for us (Skyy FC) this season. Last season, I experienced referees like Julian Nunoo, Selorm Yao Bless and the quality of referees were much better as compared to this season”

“Some referees have the name but also have bad records in the local scene. So when those referees are sent to officiate your games, it affect you as a team” he said.
