Karela United coach Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko has expressed displeasure about officiating in his outfits defeat to King Faisal on Wednesday.

The Issah Allah boys inflicted a 3-2 win over Karela United in matchday 24 of the Ghana Premier League at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

Emmanuel Owusu Boakye gave Karela the lead on 41 minutes but Faisal restored parity two minutes later through Samuel Kusi who capitalized on a howler by Karela goalie, Asempa.

Abdul Latif shot the “Insha Allah” boys into the lead after recess on 61 minutes. They doubled their advantage after Bature scored their third.

Nketiah pulled one back for the Nzema based side but Ablordey’s boys held on to secure a crucial win over Karela.

“It wasn’t a bad performance except that we gave out the goals for them to score. Unfortunately, I must say it’s a terrible day for Ghana football, my issue is that officiating was terrible because the referee did not handle the match as expected” he said.

Karela are 15th on the League standing, just a point above the drop zone. They host Samartex at CAM Park for their next game.
