Asked by French media about the chance for OGC Nice to sign 30-year attacking playmaker Samir Nasri, leaving Manchester City again, Jean-Pierre Rivère, chairman of last season Ligue 1 sensations, stated: "We definitely haven't been in touch with City on Nasri talks". While former Arsenal and Olympique Marseille player has been linked to many more clubs, especially AS Roma, Lille, and Galatasaray, Rivère has recently ruled out Hatem Ben Arfa's comeback chances as well.
