Ghanaian midfielder Alhassan Wakaso has promised to give his all to his new club Olympiacos Nicosia.

The midfielder completed a move to the Cypriot top-flight side on a free transfer after leaving Portuguese club Vitoria Guimaraes after the expiration of his contract.

The former Black Stars player signed a one-year contract a day before the summer transfer window shut but the club decided to make the announcement Tuesday, September 7.

In a post sighted by Footballghana.com, Wakaso expressed his delight after securing a move to the club and has promised to give his all to his new team.

"I am very happy to join the Olympiakos Nicosia Family and I am ready to give my all for the badge. Bring it on," he posted on Instagram.

He is the younger brother of Black Stars midfielder Mubarak Wakaso.

Alhassan spent four years at Guimaraes but he had little joy because of injuries. The 29-year-old spent a total of 592 days on the sidelines between 2017 and 2020.
