1990: Milan wins its third Intercontinental Cup. In goal Stroppa

In 1990 Milan won the Intercontinental Cup for the third time in its history. In Tokyo, the Rossoneri defeated the Paraguayans of Olimpia Asuncion 3-0 thanks to a double from Rijkaard (44' and 65') and a goal from Stroppa (61'), now coach of Crotone in the Serie A TIM 2020/2021.

2007: Pozzi show

On 9 December 2007 Empoli won in Serie A at the "Castellani" against Cagliari 4-1: all four goals were scored by Pozzi, still today a record in terms of scoring with the Empoli shirt in a single top division match.
