1922: the first Coppa Italia

In 1922 the first edition of the Coppa Italia got started: in the first round 17 matches were played and, among others, two teams from today's Serie A took to the field: Parma and Udinese. Parma were immediately eliminated by losing 0-1 in Bologna against Virtus, while Udinese won 4-0 at home against Feltrese, starting the path that would take them to the final, which they then lost 0-1 in extra time against Vado.
