Opare Addo slams media over Patrick Razak’s contract reportage

The Public Relations Officer of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has hit back at the media over Patrick Razak’s contract situation at the club insisting the media should know better.

The winger according to reports, asked the club to accept the offer from Guinean giants AC Horoya after the club tabled an offer of $80k but the former Premier League champions blocked Razak’s move from the club.

And according to Opare Addo, the media must be blamed for the uncertainty surrounding the future of the winger.

“In the first place, Patrick Razak doesn’t have four months left on his contract that is falsehood,” he told Class Sports

“Secondly, Hearts of Oak have not said that we have rejected the offer we have received, that is a falsehood.

“I hate it when the media who are supposed to dig deeper to know the exact stories engage in speculations and I think it is unfortunate.

“When we receive an offer for any player, it goes through a process to determine whether it will be agreed or not so we will know the best decision we can take.

“So if we have received an offer for Patrick Razak, I don’t think it is fair for anybody to put pressure on Hearts of Oak, the club will think through it and take the best decision,” he added.
