Mali international, Kalifa Koulibaly has opened up on what convinced him to join Red Star Belgrade.
As part of a move to strengthen the squad of the team, the Serbian giants have secured the services of the experienced attacker.
Speaking in his maiden interview, Kalifa Koulibaly said he is excited to join the club and cannot wait to get started.
“Zvezda is an interesting club for me. I watched the last European game. Before that I also followed the club on Instagram. I am familiar with how many people love Zvezda,” Kalifa Koulibaly noted.
According to the Mali forward, he was convinced to join Red Star Belgrade by Ghana forward Osman Bukari.
“Bukari convinced me to come to Belgrade. He gave me his impressions of the first team. I am familiar with the club and its history. I've heard all the best about Zvezda, I can't wait to get on the field and give the club my best on the field,” the attacker said.
