Otto Addo appoints Joseph Laumann, John Paintsil and Fatau Dauda as Black Stars assistant coaches

Otto Addo, the head coach of the Ghana national football team, the Black Stars, has announced his coaching staff, appointing Joseph Laumann, John Painstil, and Fatawu Dauda as assistant coaches.

Laumann, a UEFA pro-license holder, brings a wealth of experience from his playing days in Cyprus, Germany, and Vietnam, as well as coaching stints with clubs like Standard Liege, VfL Bochum, and Barnsley in the English Championship.

Joining Laumann in the backroom staff are former Ghanaian players John Painstil and Fatawu Dauda.

Painstil, a Ghanaian football legend with 89 caps, has played for clubs like Fulham, West Ham United, and Kaizer Chiefs, representing Ghana in two FIFA World Cup tournaments.

He also brings coaching experience from his time as an assistant coach at Kaizer Chiefs and holding a CAF Licence B.

Fatawu Dauda, a former goalkeeper with experience at clubs like Voradep, Okwahu United, AshantiGold, and Orlando Pirates, has represented Ghana 23 times and featured in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
