Former Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has voiced his satisfaction with Ghana's consecutive victories over Mali and the Central African Republic in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers last month.
The ex-Udinese midfielder sees encouraging signs in these matches that Otto Addo can capitalize on moving forward.
Agyemang-Badu, a staunch admirer of the former Borussia Dortmund Talent Coach, emphasized the team's resilience in overcoming halftime deficits to secure wins.
Ghana currently sits second in Group I of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, trailing Comoros on goal difference.
"I think in his second coming, he said he's coming to build a team for Ghana. When he leaves, then he has a legacy,” Agyemang-Badu told Joy Sports.
“He's bringing in new good guys. We have watched the two games. You can't even remember the last time we won two straight games, especially an away game. So, we can build on that.”
The Black Stars will next be back in action in September to kick of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
