Otto Addo not the right coach to lead Ghana to the 2022 FIFA World Cup – Charles Taylor

Former Ghana attacker, Charles Taylor has stressed that he believes the Black Stars will not be in the right hand if the national team goes to the 2022 FIFA World Cup with Otto Addo as the head coach.

According to him, Coach Otto Addo does not have what it takes to organise a team.

“I have said for Otto Addo, he is not a coach to lead Ghana to the World Cup. Because he has the team all right but he does not know how to organize them,” Charles Taylor told Angel TV in an interview.

He proposes that Ghana should go in for a coach who can put together a team and assemble good players for the upcoming tournament.

“So we should rather look for those who can put the team together so that the players who are actively playing will be handed the start while those who are not playing actively will be on the bench,” the former Hearts of Oak forward said.

Ghana will be one of five African countries that will be playing at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The Black Stars are in Group H and will face their counterparts from Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.
