Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, says he is open to working with Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The Nottingham Forest winger has been constantly linked to switch nationality to play for the West African country despite playing for the youth teams of the Three Lions of England.

The 23-year-old winger has also made three appearances for the English national team. However, Hudson-Odoi is still eligible to represent Ghana due to FIFA’s eligibility rules.

Reacting to the possibility of working with the former Chelsea winger, Otto Addo said, "So far not yet. Also heard people saying this [Hudson-Odoi being invited],” he told 3Sports.

“To me, nobody came to me so far but we are open for everyone who wants to join. If somebody wants to join, a special player like him, we’re always open.”

Addo emphasised the importance of players embracing the Ghanaian culture, highlighting the team’s inclusive and harmonious environment.

“I think it’s very important that whoever comes buys into the Ghanaian culture. And the culture is very, very good. Ever since I’ve been here Muslims get along well with Christians, and we have different tribes. All I can say is, surely sometimes there are problems, but as a team, we all connect very well. This is so good to see that things can work even though somebody comes from this part or that part of the world. We all come together as one and this is so important.”
