Otumfuo to pay Asante Kotoko Noks Hotel debt

Asante Kotoko's Life Patron Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has intervened to cover the debt owed by the club.

The Kumasi High Court 7 ordered the Porcupine Warriors to pay GHC69,960 that was outstanding to Noks Hotel Asokwa in the month of April during the previous administration.

The owner of the club Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has chosen to pay off the debt because the former club leaders have not yet made good on their debt.

The hotel's owner has been summoned to Manhyia Palace for a peaceful settlement of the dispute before the court hearing.

Asante Kotoko is currently under an interim management committee.

The four-member IMC includes Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua who is the Kontomponiaferehene and a chartered accountant.

Other members are former Black Stars head coach James Kwesi Appiah, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, who has been named the new head coach, and Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi, who will serve as the administrative manager.
