Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum says his outfit target is to be the best despite slow start to the Ghana premier League season.

Kotoko have struggled to find their rhythm, failing to secure a victory in their first two games. Their season opener ended in a goalless draw against newly promoted Heart of Lions at home, followed by a 2-1 defeat to Bibiani Goldstars last weekend.

Despite slow start to the season, Ogum, who won the Ghana Premier League title during the 2021/22 season has expressed optimism about his outfit chances this season.

According to him, his side ultimate goal is to be the best in the Ghanaian top-flight.

“There is no pressure. Our target as a team is to be the best” he said at the pre-match conference.

Kotoko are 17th on the table with just a point after two games into the domestic top-flight campaign.

The Ghanaian giants will host Karela United in the week 3 fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
