The Black Stars' assistant coach, George Boateng, thinks the team will be able to gauge where they are after playing Brazil who are favourite to win the World Cup.

Both sides have earned spots in the 2022 World Cup, which will begin in November in Qatar.

The Black Stars of Ghana will take on the Samba boys on Friday in France. Both teams are currently in Deauville preparing for the huge encounter.

Speaking about the upcoming game against the South Americans George Boateng said:

“For us, it’s beautiful to play these [friendly games]. You’re playing against the world No.1 [in Brazil], what a challenge, what a prospect to look forward to,” he told Joy Sports.

“As a coach, you want to test yourself against the best but I can also say the players will want to test themselves against the best,"

“So playing against Brazil is a game that you don’t need motivation for. You’ll more than motivated to go out there and perform,”
