Our target is to beat Accra Lions to secure victory on Wednesday – Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara

Hearts of Oak head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara has set sight on leading the team to beat Accra Lions in the Ghana Premier League in midweek.

The Phobians will face off with their Week 28 opponents of the league campaign on Wednesday, May 1.

In the team’s last outing, Hearts of Oak suffered a 2-0 defeat to Legon Cities FC.

Speaking in a post-match interview after that game, coach Aboubakar Ouattara said his team will work hard in training to ensure victory in their next match against Accra Lions.

“Every match we need the three points. We lost today but the next must we focus and work hard for the three points,” Coach Aboubakar Ouattara told StarTimes.

After that defeat, the Phobians are now 12th on the Ghana Premier League table. With 35 points, finishing the season in the top four is now going to be difficult.

The game against Accra Lions on Wednesday will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium.
