Ousmane Dembele Now the Most Productive Teenager in Europe's Top Five Leagues

Published on: 17 February 2017

A lot was made of Ousmane Dembele's move to Borussia Dortmund in the summer after the French teenager took Europe by storm with a sensational second half to the season with Ligue 1 side, Rennes.

The tricky winger was overloaded with suitors in the summerbut opted to make the move to Dortmund where first team football has not been hard to come by.

Week in week out, the 19-year-old has justified his inclusion, and indeed his price tag, deputising brilliantly for Henrikh Mkhitaryan who left for Manchester United in the summer.

Now, Dembele has a very prestigious accolade to his name as he is now the most productive teenager in Europe's top five leagues.

Ousmane Dembélé has now been directly involved in more goals (13) than any other teenager in Europe's top 5 leagues.

After scoring against Wolfsburg on Saturday, the Frenchman now has five goals and eight assists to his name, a very handsome return for a raw talent.

Already a French international, the world really is firmly at the feet of the mercurial wing wizard, whose haul of eight assists is actually the highest in the German top-flight - only four players across Europe can boast a higher tally.

The Premier League may have teen sensations in Marcus Rashford and Gabriel Jesus but the Bundesliga perhaps has the finest of them all.

He's slipped under the radar, but he is slowly becoming a household name - something about that surname just attracts talent, just look at the two Moussa's.
