Out-of-contract Caleb Amankwah opens up on his Hearts of Oak’s future

Out of contract Hearts of Oak defender Caleb Amankwah has confirmed ongoing talks between his management and the club with regards to his future after his contract expired.

The 25-year-old joined the Phobians in 2021 from Aduana Stars and established himself as a key cog to the club.

However, the former WAFA and Aduana Stars defender saw his contract expired at the end of the season.

In an interview with Kessben FM, Caleb Amankwah said, “At the moment, we are into negotiations with the club. Going as a free agent is very bad, the club has helped me a lot so we are engaging with the club to take the best of decisions” he said.

Amankwah has won several titles with the Ghanaian giants, winning one GPL title, two FA Cup and two President Cup titles.
