Former Hearts of Oak midfielder Laryea Kingston has chosen Michael Essien as the better player over Thomas Partey.
Thomas Partey has taken on a key role in the current Black Stars setup. The Atletico Madrid midfielder has earned comparisons with Essien among fans for his superb performances.
Kingston however believes that Essien is the better player and added that he was lucky to play alongside him.
“They [Partey and Essien] all have their strengths and weaknesses but I will say I was privileged to play alongside Michael Essien," he told Joy FM.
"We all know the work he did at Chelsea. Partey has done well and is still doing well but Essien was something else.”
