Arsenal legend Gilberto Silva has stated that Partey has the qualities to become an important player for Arsenal.
The 27-year-old was recruited by the club on deadline day of the summer transfer window after his 50 million release clause was triggered.
Since his arrival, he has been important to the team but is currently out with an injury.
"Thomas Partey was a player that Arsenal really needed, he’s currently injured which is tough to take. ‘It’s hard for the manager to deal with because he clearly had a plan with Partey and things have had to change because of his injury," Silva told Ladbrokes
