‘Passionate’ Yahaya Dawuni promises to donate first Kotoko salary to orphanage

Asante Kotoko new signing Yahaya Dawuni has promised to donate his first salary at the club to the orphanage.

The enterprising defender sealed a move to the Porcupine Warriors this week from Division One club Susubiribi. He penned a three-year deal that will keep him at the club until 2026.

Speaking to the club’s media, the highly-rated defender disclosed he will donate his first salary at Kotoko to the Orphanage in order to smiles in their faces.

“What I would like to do with my first salary at Kotoko is to donate to the orphanage. I have always had that in mind, even when I hadn’t joined Kotoko I had in mind that any team that I sign for, I will donate my first salary to orphanage. My parents are still alive but I’m a type who like to help, have passion for people who lack” he said.

Yahaya Dawuni has already commenced preseason with the record Ghana Premier League holder at Beposo.
