Patrick Joosten has returned to FC Utrecht after ending his loan spell with Sparta Rotterdam
The Dutch-born winger who is of Ghanaian descent joined the Rotterdam-based club in the summer transfer window of 2019 to ensure he enjoyed playing time.
At Sparta Rotterdam, the 21-year-old made 15 appearances while scoring 3 goals in the process.
His stay was adjudged impressive before the season had to be canceled as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic that hit Holland.
Though his loan deal would have ended on June 30, 2020, Patrick Joosten has returned a week earlier due to the abrupt end to the season.
The attacker has gained some experience and will be expected to fight for a starting role at FC Utrecht next season when the Dutch Eredivisie campaign starts.
