Patrick Twumasi leaves future in the hands of his agent amidst interest from top clubs

Deportivo Alaves winger Patrick Twumasi says he is leaving his future in the hands of his agent amidst all the interest shown by top European clubs.

The 25-year-old attacker has spent the 2019/2020 season on loan at Turkish Super Lig side Gaziantep FK to ensure he gets regular playing time.

In the new environment, the attacker has shown his quality and has gone on to establish himself as one of the best players in the team.

Ahead of the summer transfer window where he will be expected to return to Deportivo Alaves, Patrick Twumasi has confirmed that there is interest from some German, Italian, and Turkish clubs.

“For now am on loan here (Gazişehir Gaziantep), I still have a contract with Deportivo Alaves but I have received some offers.

“There are lots of Clubs from Germany, Italy and in Turkey here who have all expressed their interest, but for now am here so I have to ensure I do all my best for the club then after we so what happens”, the winger shared in an interview with Tv3.

He further noted that he leaves it to his agent to discuss these offers to decide on the best move for him.

“It is up to my agent to discuss with the Club who are interested in me and see the best offer for me", Twumasi added.

After making 23 appearances in the Turkish Super Lig prior to its suspension, he chipped in with 5 goals and 5 assists as well.
