Attacker Patrick Twumasi scored in Maccabi Netanya's 2-2 draw with Hapoel Be'er Sheva at the Yaakov Turner Toto Stadium on Sunday.

Hapoel Beer Sheva took the lead after Rotem Hatuel scored inside six minutes, but Netanya fought back eleven minutes later, and Twumasi equalized against a team he's enjoyed scoring against since arriving in Israel.

The Diamonds took the lead in the 39th minute thanks to a fast strike from Serbian attacker Igor Zlatanovi.

Sagiv Yehezkel curled home a fantastic goal at the end of the half-time break to record his fourth goal in the Israeli Premier League this season.

Sharing points fairly reflected the match's outcome, with Maccabi Netanya taking eighth place with 21 points. Although Hapoel Be'er Sheva moved to third position, they are still nine points behind the leaders.

Twumasi, who has scored twice in 10 league games this season, joined Maccabi Netanya on February 2022. Maccabi Netanya will play Sektzia Ness Ziona in their next game.
