Performances of young Ghanaian players in Italy: Ghanaian youngster Enoch Owusu scored his fourth goal in three consecutive matches for Inter Milan

With Covid 19 rearing its head in some of Italy's youth leagues, a few Ghanaian footballers were in action last weekend for their respective clubs.

Inter Milan's Enoch Owusu once again confirmed his status as the most prominent young player, and one of few eye catching talents in the U17 youth division.

The 16 year old scored his fourth goal of his campaign when the Nerazzurries played city rivals AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina. The game ended in a 2-2 draw game.

Owusu was Inter's major threat going forward as he displayed remarkable technique with his ball control, showed bravery in possession, made the right moves, and provided visionary passes.

In the Primavera division, Felix Ohene Gyan played a fundamental role for AS Roma when they hosted rivals SS Lazio in the Rome derby. He registered an assist for the Giallorossi goal in a 1-1 scoreline against the visitors. Gyan had a rate of 6 by Mondoprimavera.

Philip Yeboah played 55 minutes for Hellas Verona when they recorded a 2-0 victory on the road to Venezia. Yeboah had a rating of 6.5 by Mondoprimavera for creating many scoring opportunities for his teammates.

In the same division, Emmanuel Manu Gyabuua provided the assist for Atalanta's winning goal against Torino in a 2-1 win. . That's his second assist of the season. Gyabuua scored 6 for his performance. The central midfielder played 90 minutes for the Bergamo side.

Ebenezer Annan was Introduced in the 47th minute for Bologna when they played out a goalless draw against Genoa.

Brian Oddei was on the bench for Sassuolo's first team squad when they beat Sampdoria by a lone goal in Serie A.

Ahmed Awua joined Parma's U18 side when they welcome Inter at home. Parma lost by 1-3. Awua played 90 minutes for the home side.
