PHOTO: Barcelona Midfielder Rafinha Suffers Nasty Cut to Head in Win Over Athletic Bilbao

Barcelona midfielder Rafinha suffered a gruesome head injury during his side's 3-0 win over Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.

The Brazil international was on the receiving end of a boot to the face from goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, accidentally of course.

Unfortunately, the result was a deep cut from eyebrow to forehead, which Rafinha showed off in a selfie (and it's certainly not for those with a weak stomach).

As grisly as it looks, it seems that the 23-year-old wasn't too concerned by the fairly prevalent gash.

With a few stiches, however, he should be fit for Barca's Copa del Rey semi-final first leg clash with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.

The Catalan club remain in contention for all three competitions, but even with victory on Saturday, they are a point behind Real Madrid in the leaguehaving played two games more.

Any more slip-ups in La Liga could prove as painful as Rafinha's nasty injury for Luis Enrique's side.
