The Black Queens of Ghana have commenced preparations for the tie against Benin in the qualifiers for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

Ghana in the second round of the qualifiers has to deal with their counterpart from Benin.

On Tuesday, the Black Queens players selected for the upcoming two legs of the tie reported to camp in Cotonou, Benin.

After settling, the Black Queens in the evening held their first training session supervised by head coach Nora Hauptle.

“The team arrived in Cotonou on Monday evening with 17 players with 4 others joining in early Tuesday morning.

“As part of preparations for the first leg fixture, 21 Black Queens players trained under the technical team on Tuesday,” an update from the Ghana FA said.

The first leg of the showdown between Benin and Ghana is scheduled to be played on Friday, October 27.

Subsequently, the Black Queens will host the second leg game at the Accra Sports Stadium on October 31.
