The Ghana women’s senior national team has started preparations for the upcoming 2024 Olympics Games qualifiers against Guinea.

On Monday, July 3, 25 players reported to camp to start the preparations for the crucial qualifiers.

Coach Nora Hauptle’s women are eager to secure a place at the Olympic Games next season but must first excel in the qualifiers.

On Tuesday evening, the 25 players in camp trained for the first time at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Black Queens of Ghana are expected to travel to Conakry for the 1st leg of the tie against Guinea in the qualifiers on Friday, July 14.

That game will be played at Stade General Lansana Conte in Nongo, Conakry.

The Black Queens will hope to secure a positive result to make the reverse fixture in Accra a mere formality.

After the Guinea hurdle, the Black Queens will have two more opponents to deal with before qualifying for the 2024 Olympic Games in France.
