The Black Stars of Ghana have started preparations for the next match in the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.

The national team on Thursday, March 23, hosted their counterpart from Angola in a Group E encounter of the AFCON qualifiers.

In a game played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, the Black Stars had a tough time but managed to secure a narrow 1-0 victory at the end of the 90 minutes.

It was all thanks to a late strike from striker Antoine Semenyo.

After that game, the Black Stars of Ghana have immediately turned their attention to the reverse fixture next week.

At the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday, head coach Chris Hughton and his technical team took the Stars through a recovery session.

The team will this weekend travel to Angola for the upcoming clash on Monday, March 27.
