Ghanaian winger John Yeboah has joined Dutch second-tier side Almere City FC from Willem II Tiburg in the on-going winter transfer window.

The 20-year-old penned a five-month loan deal with an option to extend at the end of the season after passing his mandatory medical.

Despite his young age, the German-born Ghanaian winger already has the necessary experience at the highest level.

Yeboah has played in the youth academy of VfL Wolfsburg since 2015, where he made his debut in the main squad in the 2018/2019 season.

With two games in the Bundesliga and a German cup match to his name, he made the switch to VVV-Venlo eighteen months ago.

For the Limburgers, he played eighteen times in the Eredivisie.

This season, he has made 12 league appearances for Willem II in the first half of the season. He was also present in the Europa League duel with Progrès Niederkorn.
