PHOTOS: Ghanaian youngster Abdul Issahaku commences training at Sporting Lisbon

Ghanaian youngster Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has started training with his new club and the first team of Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon.

The 18-year-old was put through his paces by the technical handlers of the team together with his teammates.

Issahaku joined Sporting from Ghanaian side Steadfast FC on a five-year deal keeping him at the club until June 2027.

He also has a sensational release clause of 60 million euros.

The highly-rated youngster featured in all three of Ghana’s games at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, and both legs of last month’s 2022 World Cup play-off against Nigeria which the Black Stars won on away goals.

Issahaku began the 2021/22 season with Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC and was a part of Ghana’s squad at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

He is regarded as one for the future and will be worked on to continue his development while playing for Sporting CP in Portugal.
