PHOTOS: Liverpool Reveal Plans for Stunning New State-of-the-Art Training Ground

Liverpool have published plans for their new state-of-the-art training ground as the project's developers look to agree amendments with local residents and get the go ahead to start work on the new facilities.


According to theEcho,the Reds are keen to move away from their current Melwood training ground and are now looking to buy a 14-acre piece of land next to their academy centre in the Simonswood Playing fields in Kirkby.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has been looking to have the first-team train at the same facilities as the club's academy players ever since he moved to Anfieldand having set a deadline for the start of the 2019/2020 season, the Reds appear to have agreed that building a new training complex next to the academy is the correct solution.

The project is expected to cost in the region of £50m and must now gain approval from local councillors and residents alike, before the final details can be put in place and developers can start to build the Liverpool first-team a new training complex.
